Cinnamon Oats Scrub


Cinnamon for colour...Oats for exfoliation... loaded with Olive Oil, and also Almond Oil, Coconut Oil, Castor Oil & Shea Butter. Sweet & spicy Essential Oil combo. After lots of experimenting, I have finally come up with a Palm Oil-Free soap that I really love. This soap has been one of my most popular but the base recipe had palm oil & this is the first time I have made it without. Even better!

    Ohhh, this looks and sounds fabulous. I made a cinnamon honey oatmeal soap a while ago and seeing this reminds me that I should make it again.

    Mmmm, I think I can smell them through the screen. Love the brown colour, I haven't used cinnamon yet. It looks lovely.

    Wow! Thanks everyone for the awesome comments! What a wonderfully supportive environment this "soap-blog" place is. For the topping, if anyone wants to know how... I usually put the lid on the mould once I have poured and wait a few minutes for it to set a little, then I remove the lid and use my little wooden "shishkabob" stick, pointy end, and just start swirling. Each batch looks different as it works differently depending how long I leave the soap set before swirling. I like smaller, less deep swirls lately, after I read on someone's blog (it may have been Platypus Dreams) that she was having complaints from her customers about the big deep swirls because water was getting trapped in the crevices.
