What do you think this is?
What natural colour do you think I may have been experimenting with?
What do you think may possibly have not gone as intented?
Trying to breath some life into this blog as it used to be so much more interactive... hoping for some great guesses!!
Happy Soaping!!

Hmmm...I have 3 possible guesses for the natural colorant, but I'm going to guess Cambrian blue clay. No matter which colorant you used, I'm jealous - I've never been able to get such a beautiful blue from any natural colorant!
ReplyDeleteAs for what went wrong, the soap looks very crumbly. Is it lye heavy?
Is it woad?
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful blue! I would guess indigo powder, but I really have no clue!
ReplyDeleteI guess it's not indigo,I think you've used it before and this is an experiment,as you said. Methylen blue?
ReplyDeleteI agree it looks crumbly, but what might have caused it,have no idea. Maybe TD?
Can't wait revealing!
I have no idea other than indigo...
ReplyDeleteNot sure about what natural colourant you've used but it is a beautiful Blue xx
ReplyDeleteBrighid, thank you very much for the sweet comment about the colour... No one has guessed correctly yet.... xo Jen
ReplyDeleteKalla, Not woad... but that is another ingredient I would LOVE to experiment with... Thanks for guessing!

Brighid, Forgot to mention that you were correct about what went wrong. I mismeasured, making this quite lye heavy!! xo Jen
ReplyDeleteCee Gee, Thanks for your guess. It is not Indigo.... xo Jen
ReplyDeleteDiva Soap, Thank you for your guesses!! It is not Methylen blue and the crumbling was not from TD.... will reveal soon!! xo Jen
ReplyDeleteMika, Thank you for your comment/ guess... however it is not indigo... xo Jen
ReplyDeletePolly, Thank you for your comment!!! Glad you like the colour. It has seriously evolved since then... xo Jen
