I share some photos from last night as I was setting up in practise for my Christmas Craft Fair today. However it has been cancelled because of rain and wind today, or rather postponed until tomorrow. Fingers crossed for good weather tomorrow!!!
Happy American Thanksgiving! Regardless of where we are or where we live, Thanksgiving reminds us to be thankful for what we have... right here right now. Since the breakdown in August, I have been writing in a Gratitude journal every night before sleep and what an awesome excercise this is... It has made me focus on all the wonderful things in my life just as it is right now, instead of what is not going so well.
...And there are so many wonderful things to be thankful for each day.

Sorry to hear the craft sale has been postphoned and I hope it goes well for you tomorrow. Your products look great and I love your signs as well. The labels on your lip balms are adorable.

Thanksgiving is a wonderful time of year. I've had a very nice one complete with my little family all around. Those are the best times for sure. Glad you are able to spend time with yours-enjoy!

So how did the Christmas Fair go? Did they hold it the next day? You seem to offer a very nice variety of products. I would be interested to know the amount of hours it took you to prepare for your first craft fair, being that we at Joyful Soaps are new to selling our soaps at these types of shows.

Michael, I really like doing craft fairs. It is a way to talk face to face with your public and get to know what people like, and promote yourself. The best ones for selling are the Christmas fairs because people go prepared to spend. I would say it took about 2 to 3 hours to prepare for this fair - I already had products packaged. I just needed to make signs, gather stuff together, then get my stuff there and set up. I suppose it all depends on how much stuff you will be bringing. Very worthwhile these type of events.
