Soap Dishes

I am thrilled with the soap dishes that the ceramicist created for me!  Here are some of them.

The others sold. He is making more so I will post again!

Farewell Wild Lavender... the last bars sold!

The season is in full swing and my evening markets have STARTED!
My shaving soap on my sea-side stand…
Happy summer!!

The new soap dishes are divine looking. The natural type one second photo with logo up on top right is really lovely.

The photo of the last Wild Lavender (using the one you sent me in the shower at the moment and it's lovely) has a branded wrapped paper on it which looks like the words lavander. Did you get that custom made? It looks great.

Also love, love, love the beach side stand. How many levels is it and how wide? I ask because we in the midst of staining or painting our market stands a similar shade and then I see this photo today. Did someone local make it? We had our stand custom build.

Zwerg, thank you for your comment!! xo Jen

Michelle, thanks for commenting. Glad you like the soap dishes. He made an oval one as well, that sold out quickly. He is making shaving dishes as well.
New soap wrapping paper - i was very frustrated with the wax paper/ oven paper I was using as it is NON STICK and that also means NON STICK to the tape. So I began using Eco-Wrap paper from Gracefruit http://www.gracefruit.com/cosmetic-packaging/ecowrap-paper/ and it is such a treat. It says Handmade Soap on it. But will be getting some custom made with my logo eventually. Sticks so well... loving it!!
My market stand has been evolving for some time. The wooden tier/ stand was given to me as a gift by a carpenter who also does the markets. It is about 1 meter wide and three tiers high. The best part of it is that it is hollow behind, so it becomes my office!! I keep my bags there, and cut my soaps there etc. We recently had another stand made with another one of these, for our second evening market, and are leaving the natural wood colour. i will send you a photo of the stand now on email. Can't wait to see photos of your new custome market stand!! xo Jen

Tina, Thanks! Come visit us at the market one of these nights!! xo Jen

Oh Jen, your soap world just grows and grows in the best way. And to have an evening market on the sea! How perfect. Love hearing all your news and adore those soap dishes1

Donna, Thanks for your sweet comment!! Evening market is lovely, romantic, last night as I worked under the full moon, listening to Jack Johnson... chatting up customers.... sounds lovely, no? Well, the problem is the HUMIDITY on the soaps!! The exposed samples I leave out get drenched. I wipe and wipe... so market by the sea sounds and looks wonderful but it has its disadvantages... We are opening the studio soon!!! xo Jen

the soap dish is so lovely and very elegant and simple to look at..make sure that your soap is not messy and you just put it anywhere..its not good to look at,it should be place in a right soap dish
