Someone guessed correctly about what happened to this soap... Brighid's Witch (link?) - lye heavy, but no one has guessed correctly about the natural colour yet. Once all is revealed, I will publish more about the experiment, the mistake, and the things I have learned...
Todays Clue: I have worked with this natural colour before but NEVER with results anything like this. This is not the usual colour that results. I also need to mention that is has evolved and is turning greener...
So far the guesses for colour (none correct) have been:
Cambrian
blue clay
Woad, guessed
Indigo
Methylen
blue
Keep the guesses coming!!

Just going out on a limb and guessing Alkanet perhaps-with a weird outcome.
Yay for me, got the lye heavy part right (but bad for you, sorry)! So let's try blue-green algae for the natural colorant.
No idea! It still looks likeamaxing soap to me :)
Met your mom last night.
Spirulina?
Tierra Verde, You are right!! It was Alkanet or Ratanjot, I can't remember which i had infused but they are the same I think... which reacted to the EOs I used i think. I will post another photo xo Jen
Birgid's Witch, Not blue-green algae but thanks for the guess!! I have used spirulina before but it doesn't hold. It fades quite quickly. Thank you for guessing! xo Jen
Karen, Thanks for commenting!!!! xo Jen
