200 soaps (192 to be exact)….
Incubating cozy warm…
This is the
most soap I have made in 1 day. We made
96 before 10am and another 96 after 8:30pm.
Since I have an open shop… I have to produce outside of shop hours!
Some simple trays we got out carpinters to make, to carry soaps around.
Then I had
a productive working day in between.
Supposing I had more moulds, and the shop was closed for the day, I
wonder how many I could make…? Maybe 400 or 500 if I was really pushing it…
Soaps on our new trays...
I remember
reading on someone’s blog, it may have been Patti Flynn’s… that she can produce
2000 soaps in a day????? Wow!
What is the
maximum amount of soaps you have produced in one day?

You go girl!!
Wow -- that is an incredible amount of soaps. =)
Coco, Thank you!!!
Anne-Marie, Thank you!!
I am really looking forward to other soapmakers comments... to see about others production as well!!! xo
That's right, "You go girl"!
I have about 300 bars downstairs, some curing, some waiting to be packaged. I just made a castile-sheep milk soap this morning.
I'm thinking it's time for a bigger mold...!!
Holy cow! That's a whole lotta soap!
Karen, Thank you for your comment!!! How big are your current moulds? Ours are about the maximum for now I think... any more and they will get too heavy to work with. We are still trying to solve the pouring issue... I can pour 48 bars myself. 100 bars, I have to have help... would like to build some sort of lever system so that I could still do it on my own.... xoxoxo Jen
Thank you Michelle!! How big are your batches??? xo Jen
That's a huge amount of soap and I love your fabric pouches that you package them in. I made tiddley amounts compared to you - the most I've made in a day is 44 soaps as I only have 4 moulds. Not sure my wee hob could take a pot big enough to melt all that coconut better :)
Great work Jennifer xx
Polly, thank you for your comment!! I love hearing about others soaping experiences... I just contacted your label supplier for a quotation... thank you for the tip!! We have a good one, but must order large numbers to make it reasonable. xo Jen
