Sharing some photos

Some recent pictures for you...

My coffee soap

I love the difference a few hours makes. The soap in the forefront had just been cut and the soap in the back had been cut a few hours before. Too bad it couldn't stay the forefront brown... oh well.

I know I have asked before... but what essential oils or essential oil blends do you like in a Coffee soap? I am not so sure about the pure Coffee scent any more(C02 oil)...

My Aloe Vera soap

My Aloe Vera soap goes fast. I can't keep it in stock! I continue to tweek with each new batch though, as I would like a more unique look. In this latest batch, I added some of the Aloe Vera plant peels as well.

Some of my Spa products

I have been collaborating with a local Spa, providing them with unique products to use in their therapy sessions and massage, like massage oils, masks, body scrubs. They will be offering my products to the public soon. We are collaborating on a label for them. Tomorrow I am givng their staff a training session.

I decided right from the beginning that if other people were to be promoting my products, I wanted to make sure that they were well trained. I would much rather have 2 people promoting my products who have personally tried each one, and know ALL about them than 200 people who I don't even know have tried them.

I am loving the weather here lately. Spring is my favourite time of the year.

Happy soaping everone!

I love cinnamon or cinnamon and orange for coffee soap. I just got the coffee CO2 and only got a 5ml as it's expensive.

Congrats on working with a spa and I'm sure they will love the training you provide and first hand experience with the products.

Soaps looking great! How about a chocolate scent for a cafe-mocha?

Good to hear you´ve got marketing opportunities coming up. You must be excited.

I love your soap stamp! Very Nice. Aloe Vera soap sounds good. I have never added Aloe Vera peels in soaps. It looks great!

How exciting to have your local spa using your products and how commendable that ou require the staff to USE your products and not just give them lip service. Ethics in marketing is important !

I was beginning to wonder what happened to you. Does your coffee soap have undeodorized cocoa butter in it? Because that mixed with coffee I think would make for a nice scent. Perhaps a touch of citrus? hmhmhm?

Your soaps are so lovely, Jen, and congratulations on your success at the spa - that is great, and well done for insisting they get trained up!

Fabulous soap Jen, I love the look of the dark coffee one too, I quite like dark soaps, I think they look so dramatic, a bit like the black sheep, dark and mysterious, lying among all the normal light colored ones!! I agree cocoa butter smell or chocolate would be really lovely mmmmmm XX

I love the color changes too! For coffee soaps, the actual coffee scented ones haven't sold as well as cinnamon or other spicy scents. I have one that is an orange/spice that is good.

Yes, congrats on the spa products! Information & training is so vital - you've definitely got that part right! Anyone can say the product is good, but to actually know WHY it's so good makes all the difference.

Coco, Thanks for the comments. I would love to get a natural chocolate scent... but I think I would have to use fragrance... will keep experimenting! xo Jen

Soaptician, Thank you! I really enjoy stamping... This is the first time I have tried Aloe Vera peels in the soap. I don't know how the soap will turn out. I am having trouble leaving comments on your blog. It keeps reverting me back to my sign in page? xo Jen

Donna, Thank you so much. Yes, Ethics is one part of it. Another part is that they will sell better, don't you think? Someone that is trained up and given all of the products to try out, figure out which ones they like best yadayada will be more inclined to sell the product they know! Just my thoughts. xoxo Jen

Jen, I love the darker coffee soap of the two actually. I wonder also about a bit of cinnamon. I think coffee and cinnamon are a good pairing.

Love the aloe soap very much. I can see why you have trouble keeping up with it.You have a great target market for that particular soap.

Jen, I love the dark coffee soap, too (I like my coffee black -maybe that's why!) Your soaps look great, and CONGRATS on the training! Great policy -and I hope your Spa place sells a TON of your goodies! (Their customers are in for a real treat -they're gonna LOVE your stuff!) Hugs, my friend.

Michelle (Tierra Verde), Thank you! I guess the dark coffee one is nice as well. I just liked the different colour border before it changed... And the Aloe Vera soap? Still in the works but I am really liking the lastest batches... Glad you like the look of it! xo Jen

Heeeeellllllppppp!! If anyone is reading this could you reply with suggestions? I am having problems with my blogspot account. I appear to be signed in, and I am able to leave comments on my own blog, but anytime I try to leave a comment on anyone else's blog, it re-routes me to the sign-in page and I end up repeating it and repeating it and it won't let me leave the comment.... can anyone help? I think this has been going on for days... xoxo Jen

Jen, I've been having the same problem, I think. What happened was that when I clicked to comment some sort of error message came up and I supposedly needed to sign in and ended up nowhere. I found out that if I simply closed the window with the error message and clicked the comments link again then the window would open normally. Try it!
And I love your marketing. It all looks great and fantastic that you are collaborating with a spa. I think that is a smart move.
