No Mosquito Soap

I made this soap because so many clients have been asking for a natural soap that will deter Mosquitoes. I used the base recipe that I like the most, and added Essential Oils that deter Mosquitoes. Just waiting for it to cure but I have a feeling it will sell out quickly!

Really at a loss for a name here… I am not interested in cutsy or comical names. Just want a simple straight-forward name for this soap? There has to have a simple translation into Spanish as well… any ideas?

Xo
Jen

Hey Jen, Mine's called
"Skeeter Beater", -you're welcome to use that in Spain, but I don't know how it would translate! LOL!

I did a "Tick-Off" tick repellant soap (that landed me on Southern IL T.V. a few years ago) that sold like hotcakes. (Don't have any this year, though)I will bet you SELL OUT of this new at your next market -no matter what you name it!

Very Nice White Soaps!
I wonder what kind of essential oils you used..? Very interesting!
Mosquitoes in Japanese is "KA".
FYI.. =)

I love it, I made a soap like this a year ago and it was popular as well. This is reminding me to make another batch.

I'd use: Bug Be Gone, Bug Off Soap, Stay Away Bugs, Shoofly Soap

PS I wish I was going to be near Toronto in July and August as my sister and I were talking about it awhile back. I'm sure you will have a great time, I'm a big fan of Marilyn Denis and wanted to see her new live as I've seen the old one live.

Maybe at some point my sister and I can send you the words or an audio file of our funny Craft Market aches song.

Bugs Away, Mosquito No More is kinda long, but I don't know how it would translate.
I need a soap like this for my little one, she's been getting eaten lately.

All I know is that another soaper got in trouble for using Bug Off, since it is trademarked by SC Johnson, and that was the name I was using. So I changed it to Bye Bye Bugs. Sells out fast!

Sonja, On Babelfish, this translates as "Drives Away Mosquitos"... oh wow. Look at what a beautiful language Italian is... Scaccia zanzare.... Scaccia zanzare... Sounds like a beautiful love poem, not Drives Away Mosquitos!! I love it! Thank you for your contribution. xoxo Jen

Jen, it is Slang German(;-)
Mück means Mosquito and Wech means something like ..away..

I also have a DrechWech( Dirt away)

Jen,

I hope we meet someday as I'd like to give you a big hug, after all we are Canadians and from the same province. Who knows maybe I'll come to Spain one day.

This song is a very silly one and not one of my best works by any means. The lyrics change according to our mood. :)

Michelle, Two Blooms, I would love a big hug from a fellow Canadian and Soap Maker. You would be very welcome for a visit here as long as you are up to making some soap together!!! Any time. I love silly, goofy, spontaneous songs. One day maybe we can sing it together. xo Jen
