I will have to get my husband to try making me one of those soap cutters. I hope you enjoyed your Canada Day celebrations, Jennifer, and your camping trip. What a great way to spend the Canada weekend. Where did you camp?

A simple but very cool looking soap log splitter. Is that a guitar tuning nut on the front of the device?

Tara, We went up to Huntsville where we used to have a cottage. So we camped at Arrowhead park which was wonderful but difficult because my leg wasn't getting better. Not much walking or hiking... But just being in nature and enjoying being with my Dad and my daughter. xoxo Jen

Erwin, yes it is a guitar tuning nut. The local music store sold us an old one and dad designed the cutter. It was the best way we could think of to tighten the cutting wire (guitar string...). Let me know if you have any more questions! xo Jen

Do you have it at home? This is very essential so that soap will not be wasted.
